Tara – Studio Owner / Director

Tara Fanzo is a Co-Owner and Dance Director at Fred Astaire Dance Studios – Princeton NJ. She began dancing at the age of 5, and has over 15 years of training in classical ballet, as well as jazz, modern, and contemporary. She received most of her dance training at The Washington School of Ballet in DC where she got the opportunity to perform at many venues including the Kennedy Center and Radio City Music Hall. Tara moved to NJ in 2009 to study at the Princeton Ballet School on scholarship, and later began her ballroom dancing career as a professional instructor and competitor with Fred Astaire Dance Studios specializing in American Rhythm and American Smooth. Tara has a true passion for dance, and the significant, positive impact it has on people’s lives. She especially loves seeing students grow and transform as they develop new skills and confidence, and helping them reconnect with and express their highest selves.
