Brianna began dancing at just four years old, quickly discovering that dance was not only movement, but a powerful form of self-expression. Born in Fall River, Massachusetts, and raised between Massachusetts and South Carolina, Brianna found comfort and confidence in the studio during her formative years. By age eight, she was training in six styles—hip-hop, tap, jazz, ballet, lyrical, and contemporary—and went on to earn multiple regional and national titles while competing and traveling extensively.
Brianna’s dance journey has been profoundly shaped by a diverse array of mentors and collaborators. Influential figures such as Kaylee Millis, Nikki Gyftopoulos, Nick DeMoura, and many other coaches have played pivotal roles in her development, guiding her with their expertise, artistry, and example.
Throughout her career, she has accumulated outstanding professional experience performing with the WNBA Connecticut Sun, the NBA/G-League Celtics, and on Broadway—prestigious environments that demand excellence, versatility, and resilience. These platforms exposed her to the highest standards of the industry, where athletic performance, musicality, and storytelling intersect, refining her ability to adapt across styles.
With her grounding knowledge in hip-hop, lyrical, jazz and contemporary dance style and her smooth tone Brianna teaches an impeccable ballroom dance lesson while helping her students to evolve the technique and physical boundaries in between. – traits which are sure to enhance her well dance instruction.
Because of her well-rounded background, learning to dance with Brianna is an enriching experience. You will become adept at form and technique and develop an enhanced sense of rhythm and movement. You’ll also have a lot of fun. She believes every dancer is unique and that true success comes when students feel confident, comfortable, and seen.
Outside of the studio, Brianna enjoys cooking, traveling, and spending quality time with her husband Ivan and her toy poodle, Theo. She loves exploring new places, hosting game nights, and finding inspiration through music, culture, and everyday life. Fluent in Portuguese due to her family heritage, Brianna embraces her roots and incorporates that pride into her teaching and creativity. For her, the studio has always been a second home, and she strives to create a warm, family-like environment where dancers can shine, express themselves freely, and discover their own unique voice through dance.
