Yulia Ivanova’s journey in dance began at the tender age of 7. Along with her journey in competitive gymnastics, she honed her skills and dedication in the ballroom dance sphere. She swiftly rose to prominence in the competitive dance arena with commitment and innate talent, earning impressive titles and accolades.
Her journey is marked by significant milestones, including her 2017 USA Fred Astaire National Champion wins and consecutive victories at the Absolute World Fred Astaire Championships in 2018 and 2019. Yulia’s dedication to her craft earned her the title of Top Instructor for the New York Region in 2020, highlighting her impact beyond the competition floor.
Yulia’s journey continued with her success as the 2022 Fred Astaire NY/NJ Interregional Closed Smooth Champion, marking the beginning of a string of accomplishments in ballroom dancing. She earned recognition as a finalist in multiple categories at the prestigious Fred Astaire World Championships, demonstrating her versatility and talent.
Among her notable achievements in competitions, she clinched the 2023 Fred Astaire Cross Country Dance Champion title in the Closed Smooth Division.
