Vladislav Ivanov

Vladislav is originally from Cheboksary Russia and began ballroom dancing at only ten years old. In 1992, he moved to St-Petersburg Russia and became a student at the St. Petersburg Humanitarian University, where he graduated with honors in 1996 with a degree in Professional Ballroom and Latin Dance Sport. That same year, he became a Ballroom Dance Sport Judge. Vlad also did his post-graduate degree from Lesgaft Academy of Sport in St. Petersburg.  In 1992 he started dancing with Karina Moskaleva and they still continue their dance career together. After relocating to USA, Vlad began teaching at the East Side Manhattan NY Fred Astaire Dance Studio where he would stay until 2006 when he moved to Syracuse, NY and became an owner of Fred Astaire Franchised Dance Studio.  In 2011, the Fred Astaire Corporate Office offered Vlad the opportunity to become the Regional Franchise Developer for Pennsylvania. In only one short year, Vlad helped to open a studio in Wayne, PA with plans to further expand and  successfully develop ballroom dancing in throughout the state.

Karina Moskaleva

Karina was born in St. Petersburg Russia and began ballroom dancing at the young age of five. She successfully competed in St. Petersburg in amateur division for more than fifteen years and won numerous of titles such as St. Petersburg Multi-Time Champion, Russian Open International 10 Dance Semi-Finalist, Dutch Open Ballroom under 21 years old Finalist, Multi-Time European Championship Winner and Finalist. In 1996, she graduated with honors from the St. Petersburg Humanitarian University as a Professional Ballroom and Latin Coach as well as with a Judge Degree and Qualifications. In 2002 she relocated to the United States and worked at the Fred Astaire East Side Manhattan Studio for five years. During this time Karina and her husband Vlad Ivanov continued to compete in the Professional Ballroom Division and became USA Professional International Ballroom Championship Finalists. In 2006, she moved to Syracuse NY to open and become an owner of a new Fred Astaire Franchised Dance Studio.

Natalia Oreshkina

Natalia has been dancing for many years and hold many titles. She is a United States Rising Stars Professional finalist in the International Ballroom division and Dance Sport National Champion of Moldova from 1999-2001. As a member of the Formation Team “Codryanka”, she became World Champion in 1997 and won the European Championship title in 1998 and 2000. In addition to that, she was awarded the title of “Best Sportsman” in the country in 1997. She placed in the top 20 in the worldwide rankings of the International Dance Sport Federation and has been a finalist in American Professional National Competitions. She currently is an owner and professional ballroom instructor at the Syracuse studio.

Octavian Para

Octavian is originally from the Chisinau in the Republic of Moldova and started dancing at the age of ten. He has been competing internationally for over twenty years. By the young age of twelve, he was already a finalist and highly appreciated specialist at competitions. He began traveling the world as part of the prestigious formation team “Condreanca” where he was a member for fourteen years. While part of the team they were three time World Champions and five time European Champions. Some of his individual achievements include three time Moldavian National Champion in Ballroom & Latin Dance, third place European Cup Ten Dance in 2004 as well as being ranked thirteenth in the world for International Standard. He received a three year scholarship from the Chisinau administration for his great results in Dancesport and was awarded the title of International Master of Sport in 2002. He came to the United States in 2013 and has been at the Syracuse studio since.
