The New Year brings new classes and more great events at our Fred Astaire Franchised Dance Studio of Tarrytown.
We’re so busy we can hardly figure out where to start!
We’ve got a wonderful guest coach, Taliat Tarsinov, in the studio on Friday, Jan. 12. Taliat has been one of the most sought-after coaches and choreographers in the United States, for amateurs and professionals alike. He has coached many National Champions in all styles of dance sport. He is best known for his innovative choreography, which he enjoys creating for all levels of dancers. Talk to your instructor about booking your time with this super coach.
We’re also holding our 16th Annual Showcase on Saturday, Jan. 20! It is not to be missed. Such talent will be on display (and that talent always enjoys your support). This year’s theme is “Songs of the Silver Screen.” The Showcase is being held at the Tarrytown Music Hall. Tickets are available at the studio.
This month we are also offering three supplementary group classes (admission fee $20 per class):
- 8 p.m. on Tuesdays – Dance Styling Class
- 8 p.m. on Thursdays – Technique basics class
- 11:30 a.m. on Saturdays – DanceFit Exercise Class
There’s something for everyone here, as you seek to sharpen your ballroom dance routines or just look to move your body and get in a little workout away from the gym. This is your home away from home, your place to lose yourself in the beauty of dance.
