In our studio we offer dance instructions through the combination of private lessons and group sessions (group classes, practice parties, etc).
Private lessons are offered 5 days a week, from 1 pm to 9:30 pm, Tuesday through Friday and from 10 am to 6 pm on Saturdays.
Every other Friday night (with exception of holidays or studio trips) we have Practice Party which we offer to studio members. Practice Party is a group practice session which we run in a party format. It is a great opportunity for our students to practice what they have learned at the lessons, to meet new friends and to have fun with what they have learned!
We also host special guest coaches. You will always find the finest in dance instructors at Fred Astaire Dance Studios and we like to expand our reach by bringing in some of the finest coaches from all over the world to help you learn and grow. For a list of who’s visiting click below.

Our dance studio serves Tarrytown and many neighboring communities – Irvington, Dobbs Ferry, Hastings-on-Hudson, White Plains, Scarsdale, Elmsford, Hawthorne, Thornwood, Valhalla, Pleasantville, Briarcliff Manor, Chappaqua, Ossining, Croton-on-Hudson, Cortland, Montrose, Buchanan and Peekskill.
