Part of the enjoyment of ballroom dance instruction at Fred Astaire Dance Studio of Alamo Heights is progress.
Growing as a dancer. Becoming more proficient. Gaining confidence on the dance floor. Expanding your dance repertoire.
We honor those students as they advance through the Fred Astaire Trophy System. And we’ll be doing exactly that with our Level Passing Party on Friday, Oct. 20 at 8 p.m. at the Alamo Heights studio.
Think of this as a graduation, as students move to the next level in their pursuit of ballroom dance excellence and expertise. Alan Fenwick, our Regional Dance Director, will pass them out of their level. Then we will celebrate further at the Trophy Ball on Sunday, Oct. 22 at 6 p.m. at the Embassy Suites Hotel & Spa in San Marcos.
The graduation banquet is for those who passed out of a level, and also for anyone wanting to enjoy an evening of food, cocktails, social dancing, student exhibitions, and a professional show. Call us or stop by for ticketing information.
Added note: Team Match will also be Sunday, Oct. 22 at 2 p.m. at same hotel (Embassy Suites). This is a giant spirit rally where students dance their entries to earn points for their studio’s team. The studio with the highest point count wins top studio. Come on out and support your fellow dancers!
