We’re having a party! It’s a party where you can work on your dance skills, enjoy the company of like-minded folks and also talk a little baseball. Our Practice Party on Friday, April 17 at 8:15 p.m. has a special theme. It’s Major League Baseball!
Participants are invited to wear their favorite team’s gear to the event. Are you a fan of the Houston Astros? Do you like the Texas Rangers? Put on your cap, button up your jersey and join with like-minded people who enjoy dancing (and baseball). This will be a spectacular evening, and one you do not want to miss.
The practice parties are an opportunity for students with more expertise to share their experiences with newcomers and let them know how dancing has helped them and why dancing is so beneficial in their lives. Students get a chance to go through their dances and practice technique, presentation, posture, and musicality. This is a great time for students who want to hone the skills they have acquired in their lessons at Fred Astaire Dance Studio of Alamo Heights. It is also a wonderful opportunity for those who would like to refine their routines.
Exercise, fun, improving dance and developing social skills are all part of the Fred Astaire Dance Studio of Alamo Heights world. Dancing is a wonderful means of socializing, personal expression and an enjoyable form of exercise. Our calendar is full of fun events, so come on out and join the party.
