Wounded Warrior Fundraiser

Veteran’s Day is celebrated Monday, Nov. 12, but we are doing more than celebrating the noble men and women who served our country. We’re helping raise money to meet their needs.

Often times many of these inspiring individuals come home with wounds you can and can’t see, like a missing limb, combat stress, or depression. Because they’ve risked everything for us, we are committed to raising awareness and funds for these wounded service members and their caregivers.

Our Veteran’s Day fundraiser will run from Nov. 12 through Friday, Nov. 16. Donations can be made throughout the week online through a fundraising page connected with the Wounded Warrior Project website, or by turning in the donation to the Brookfield or Milwaukee studio’s front desk via cash or check. (Checks to be made out to Wounded Warrior Project).

For every dollar you donate, you will receive a raffle ticket to be placed towards prizes that will be drawn for at the end of the week. The drawing will be held on Friday at the studio during the day but you do not have to be present to win.

WWP offers 20 holistic programs to wounded service members and their caregivers completely free of charge and 100% of the funds raised from this fundraiser will go directly to Wounded Warrior Project to help fuel these programs.

We also want all veterans to know about our Military discount. We’re proud to support American military personnel with a special rate. This discount applies to all military personnel as well as immediate family members of active military personnel. Dance is a great stress-buster and has been shown to be effective in helping people who suffer from PTSD. https://www.danceusa.org/ejournal/2017/11/10/healing-soldier-veterans-find-support-dance-programs

This is a great week for you to show your support for our service people past and present. Please join our effort and give what you can, as no donation is too small. We look forward to seeing you.
