Krystyna Dubrovshchenko

Been born in Ukraine, Krystyna’s journey into the world of dance began at the age of six. Her early passion for dance eventually led her to earn a bachelor’s diploma in choreography in 2014. 
 In 2016, Krystyna ventured to the United States, to one of the most successful dance studios in the country, Fred Astaire Dance Studio of Durham, North Carolina. 
As professional dance instructor, she has been recognized as Top Dance Instructor for several years in a row.  In 2022 being a Best female instructor in a studio number ONE in a country!
In 2023 she became first at Fred Astaire World Championship in Close Smooth division.
And now, after almost 8 years with the company, she is very excited to bring her passion and knowledge to  new Fred Astaire Dance Studio at Chesapeake, Virginia.

Vitalii Starikov

Meet Vitalii: Born in Ukraine’s Lugansk region, he’s been dancing ballroom since the age of seven. Earned a specialist diploma in choreography in 2012. Vitalii’s remarkable dancing career includes numerous wins in national ballroom competitions and in 2014 becoming Ukrainian National Champion.
In 2016 he sets his sight on becoming a professional dance instructor in the United States. By 2021 he was honored as a Top Dance Teacher in Top Dance in the most successful studio in the country, Fred Astaire Dance Studio of Durham, NC. In 2022  Vitalii’s talent and charisma propelled him into the ranks of the Top 25 World Cup Series dance instructors.
His journey, which began in Ukraine, after almost 8 years with company of Fred Astaire, has brought his talents to Fred Astaire Dance Studio of Chesapeake, VA.
