Absolutely incredible studio with truly amazing people. You can feel the passion for teaching and love for dance the moment you walk in. The level of dedication and expertise is evident right away, and it creates such a welcoming and inspiring environment.
I’ve spent most of my life feeling uncomfortable with dancing, but Vitaliy’s supportive attitude, patience, and genuine acceptance have completely changed that for me. He has a rare ability to make you feel confident, capable, and encouraged no matter your starting point.

I cannot say enough good things about the experience I have had at this dance studio. I started ballroom dancing a little over a month ago and Vitalii has been an amazing instructor! He made learning each dance enjoyful and easy so that I could grasp the basic fundamentals and elements of each dance. I am usually very busy and do not usually make alot of time for myself to go out, but after months of being interested I decided to give it a go and am so happy that I did. All three instructors make the atmosphere very relaxed and enjoyable to help you feel more comfortable. I would highly recommend this dance studio to anyone interested in learning to dance!

My husband and I love Fred Astaire Chesapeake. We had talked about wanting to go for years and then we were invited to the beginner class. We loved it and signed up for private lessons that night. The group lessons are also a lot of fun. The instructors are great and so much fun. If you are not coming, you are missing out on a great time!

What an amazing Experience at the Chesapeake location. Vitalii and Christina are fantastic coaches. They make you feel good and bring the best out of you in a casual and relaxed ambience. I would definitely recommend this to friends and family to give it a shot. I had sign up and finally we do have a place to have fun and improve our dancing skills. I noticed it's a great place for all ages as well.

I have loved to dance my entire life. I’ve only freestyle danced though and always wanted to learn ballroom, Latin, country and more. So I did a google search and found this amazing place! From the moment I walked in the door they treated me like family. These amazing owners provide the patience, positivity and customer service that is lacking in most small businesses today. I’ve had three days of lessons so far and have enjoyed every minute. I am my own worst critic and Vitalii has made me believe in myself again.
If you are even considering to give it a “try” I encourage you to just do it! 😊 you won’t regret it!

Took private dance lessons here for the father-daughter dance at my wedding. Our instructor, Krystyna, found a balance between making sure we were prepared specifically for the wedding by finding us a good range of moves we could achieve, but also worked with us to make sure we had basics of the dance style down (frame, timing, etc). We got lots of compliments on the dance and felt that it went amazingly. Would recommend this dance studio for anyone looking for lessons for an event or wedding!

No, it’s not! Our Dance Instructors at Chesapeake East are all highly-qualified and welcoming professionals, who participate in ongoing dance training throughout their careers. In addition, our progressive system of instruction and unique trophy system make it easy for you to learn. It will take a bit of time to master the various dances and a repertoire of steps, but a steady approach with periodic practice will produce visible results in less time than you’d think. We highly encourage you to keep your Lessons scheduled close together. You will progress more quickly, and it will make your experience more valuable to you.
