Veronika began her dancing career when she was seven, and has competed in high-level competitions around Europe.
She, too, is a graduate of the National University of Physical Education and Sport of Ukraine, in Kiev. She put her competitive career on hold to enter the University, and has been rewarded with remarkable success for this choice. After earning her Bachelor’s degree in P.E., she accepted an invitation from the University for the Master’s program, during which she gained elaborate experience in teaching dance in preparation for earning a Doctorate in Sport and Dance.
Today, she draws on a decade of rich teaching experience of dance to children. At the age of 16, she began her work in the Kiev public school system as a Teaching Artist. She is known for the special pride she takes in communicating and teaching the joy of dancing to students in grades 1-5. She shares her knowledge by teaching children and adults interested in competing in the International Ten Dance (a curriculum that includes both Standard and Latin dancing).
She also teaches fun and easy social dancing to adults, such as Salsa, Swing, Hustle and Merengue, plus traditional American-style social dances like Foxtrot, Waltz and Tango.
