Cross Country Dance Championships (CCDC)

APRIL 15th – 18th, 2020
We are thrilled to be heading to “The Big Easy” and the beautiful Sheraton New Orleans Hotel, for CCDC 2020 – the first Fred Astaire Dance Studios’ National Dance Competition of the year!
With its jazz roots, delectable Creole cuisine, beautiful French and Spanish Creole architecture, and vibrant nightlife, New Orleans is sure to thrill and excite. The CCDC 2020 theme is (can you guess?) “Mardi Gras”, and the event will feature four days & nights of spectacular dancing, and an exciting “Grand Finale” Pro Competition on the final night.

This year, CCDC kicks off with an exciting Big Easy Dance Camp on Tuesday April 14th, that will be hosted by an amazing collection of World-Class Coaches from the Fred Astaire Dance Studios’ International Dance Council, and is open to all FADS Pro-Am dance couples! View the Big Easy Dance Camp Coaching & Topics Flyer, the Big Easy Dance Camp Schedule, and Big  Easy Dance Camp Facebook Event. Then, talk to your FADS Instructor to lock-in your favorite sessions, and make plans to arrive in New Orleans a day early and attend this very special dance event… before it’s sold-out!

CCDC2020 entries are due by March 4, 2020 – talk to your Instructor today!
