Argentine Tango
Although the exact origins of the dance (and the world) are lost to legend, Tango originated in Argentina in the late 1800s
Bolero
Classic Bolero, introduced in Spain in 1780, is truly the “dance of love”, and is performed to music featuring a constant beat of drums.
Cha Cha
A Cuban dance derived from the Mambo and Rumba; its name comes from the rhythm developed by a syncopation of the fourth beat.
East Coast Swing
East Coast Swing evolved from the Lindy Hop in the 1940s, and is perhaps the most famous American folk dance.
Foxtrot
In 1912, Vaudeville dancer Harry Fox was the first to use the “slow step”, danced to an exhilarating new style of music – ragtime.
Hustle
A more modern entry, this disco style was most popular in the nightclub scene from the late 1960s through the 1970s.

Serendipitously while taking a package to the UPS store, I noticed the Fred Astaire Dance Studio several storefronts away. I asked my son if he wanted to look through the window to see if he’d like me to get in touch. Paul looked up from his desk, waved us in, greeted us with warmth and enthusiasm, and most importantly spoke directly to my son (as opposed to speaking about him to me).
Erin was there at that first meet-and-greet as well. My son connected with her immediately. He recognizes Cinderella when he sees her—kind, caring, and a beautiful dancer.
My son’s weekly private lessons with Erin are a highlight of his week. He has been working on a variety of dance styles, those with which he had some familiarity, as well as new ones. Whether by instinct or experience, Erin knows exactly how and when to introduce new steps and moves. It is delightful to see the joy on my son’s face as he waltzes—or foxtrots or rumbas—across the dance floor.

Best dance studio ever! I always feel so welcome. The instructors are amazing at work at my pace and abilities while instilling confidence. It is the highlight of my week every time I go to my lesson.

My fiance and I started a program here to prepare for our wedding day - not only did Paul and Erin prepare us with the basics of a multitude of styles, they also had a full choreography arranged for us straight out of "Dancing with the Stars", and then coached us through it over the course of 2 months to the point that we can NAIL it.

Erin and Paul are excellent people to work with! I haven’t picked up dancing in years and was a little nervous trying to dance again. When I met Paul and Erin for me and my fiancé’s first lesson, I felt very comfortable around them and they have a way of teaching to anyone with different learning styles. It is definitely worth the amount and these lessons gave me and my fiancé something to love doing together!
I’ve been attending classes here for about two weeks and love the experience. My girlfriend and I are learning new moves and I’m learning how to lead. Lessons are a lot of fun and Paul, Erin and Carter have been great teachers. I’m looking forward to the rest of our lessons.

No, it’s not! Our Dance Instructors are all highly-qualified and welcoming professionals, who participate in ongoing dance training throughout their careers. In addition, our progressive system of instruction and unique trophy system make it easy for you to learn. It will take a bit of time to master the various dances and a repertoire of steps, but a steady approach with periodic practice will produce visible results in less time than you’d think. We highly encourage you to keep your Lessons scheduled close together. You will progress more quickly, and it will make your experience more valuable to you.
