Giving Back with Fred Astaire Dance Studios Duluth

An important part of what sets Fred Astaire Dance Studios of Duluth apart from other dance studios in the area is our focus on giving back to students and the community. We believe that dance is a beautiful and communicative art through which we can spread the word of hope and courage.

With the popularity of ballroom dancing increasing, we are honored to be able to serve our community by performing and raising funds for deserving organizations. Our list of outreach organizations includes the John’s Creek Symphony Orchestra, Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta, the Salvation Army, and the Alzheimer’s Association.

Offering our ballroom dancing as a way to draw attention to these great organizations, we have participated in the Annual Wine and Roses Gala benefiting the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation’s Georgia Chapter and even partnered with the Metro Atlanta Region of the Alzheimer’s Association Georgia Chapter for Dancing Stars of Atlanta to raise over $225,000 for Alzheimer’s research.
