Pierre Bush – Co-Owner, Studio Manager, Instructor

Though you’d never know he wasn’t born dancing, Fred Astaire instructor Pierre Bush took up ballroom dance at the ripe old age of 24! Born in Fayetteville, North Carolina, Pierre’s family moved around quite a bit as a child, and he considers himself an “Army Brat.” While his location varied, his love for music did not. In fact, that’s what led him to pursue ballroom dance.

Formally trained in Atlanta, Pierre is now an instructor and part owner of the Fred Astaire Dance Studio of Duluth. He has over 18yrs of experience in the Ballroom Dance industry and has competed across the US & South America, both with his students and professionally in the smooth and rhythm divisions.

Through his career of dance instruction, Pierre has enjoyed some amazing opportunities to travel, meet a myriad of interesting people, and grow as a person and communicator. He cherishes the lasting relationships he’s gained and hopes that ballroom dance will allow him to continue his growth, improve as a dancer, director, & instructor, and that his students can find similar joy & growth through the art of dancing.
