BIO

Following a successful competitive career in the UK, Sue immigrated to the U.S. and started teaching at the Fred Astaire Dance Studio in Houston, TX and later, moved to Las Vegas. While competing with her late husband, Brian, and winning the Fred Astaire National Championships, they became U.S. National Champions in Ballroom Style for three years running, and represented the U.S. at three World Championships. Eventually, both joined the Fred Astaire Dance Studios Dance Board, and traveled to many Fred Astaire Dance Studios across the country, coaching and judging. After a hiatus, Susan has returned to the National Championships, and is available to help studios with coaching and training. Susan currently resides in the UK.

Susan Puttock is part of the prestigious Fred Astaire Dance Studios National Dance Board team that actively coaches our Students & Instructors in dance studio locations across our network, oversees Dance Instructor training and certification, judges (Professional, Amateur, Pro/Am) at Regional and National Fred Astaire Dance Studio Dance Competition events, and continuously reviews our proprietary dance curriculum to ensure only the finest, most up-to-date programs for our Students.
