Alex Betin

Alex began his dance journey at the age of eight. While he explored a wide range of sports during his early years, it was dance that captured his heart and remained his true passion.

A pivotal influence in Alex’s development was the renowned Lileya Dance School. Under the mentorship of his first teachers, Vitalii and Liliya Zhosan, he gained foundational knowledge in rhythm, movement, and the emotional depth of dance—elements that continue to inspire him to this day.

Alex’s dance path has taken him through both national and international competitions, as well as training seminars with some of the most respected coaches in the industry. His primary focus is the 10-dance program, which includes both International Ballroom and Latin styles.

Among his early achievements, Alex earned a Bronze Medal in the Youth category at the Ukrainian National Dance Championship. He also represented Ukraine at the European Formation Championship in Switzerland in 2000.

In 2002, Alex relocated to Kharkiv to advance his professional career and joined the esteemed Horizon Dance School, led by the distinguished coach Alexey Litvinov. A year later, in 2003, he and his partner, Alena Miroshnikova, became National Champions, winning the Gold Medal at the Ukrainian National Dance Championship.

In 2006, Alex earned a Bachelor’s degree from the Kharkiv State Academy of Culture. Driven by a desire to deepen his expertise, he moved to Kyiv to continue his education and professional development. He enrolled at the National University of Physical Education and Sports of Ukraine, specializing in Olympic Sports. There, he expanded his knowledge of dance coaching, strategy, and philosophy, earning a Master’s degree in 2008.
