Dima’s dance journey began in 1993 in the town of Smila, Cherkasy region, Ukraine. In 1995, he was accepted into the Kyiv University of Culture and Arts, where he continued to develop as a dancer and choreographer. In 1996, Dima began his coaching career at the ballroom dance club “Kaleidoscope,” where he worked and performed for 11 years.
In 2007, Dima founded his own dance studio, “Antares.” During his competitive career, he became a prizewinner at international competitions in France (Le Mans), Russia (St. Petersburg), and Lithuania (Vilnius). After retiring from competitive dancing, he devoted himself to teaching and mentoring the next generation of dancers—many of whom became winners and finalists at both national and international events.
For over 10 years, Dima was a member of the presidium of the All-Ukrainian Organization (SGOSTU), actively contributing to the development of dance sport in Ukraine.
Since 2023, Dima has been working at Fred Astaire Dance Studios in Greensboro, USA, where he continues to share his passion and experience with students of all ages and skill levels.
