Olena Bondarenko has a bachelor’s degree in choreography and directing from the Kharkov State Academy of Culture. Her career began in her school years when her family brought her to fill out documents for the first grade and found out that there was another option to send the child to a choreography class, the choice was obvious. She and her family in a few years will be connected for many years with the world of Ballroom Dancing, as they will open a very successful business and will produce one of the best dance products in the world.
Olena is a multi-faceted champion of Ukraine in Latin, Standard and 10 dances and twice represented Ukraine at the International Ballroom Dancing Championships held in Holland and Poland. Being a children’s and youth competitor, she won the Ukrainian championships and many prestigious competitions in Ukraine for many years.
Then there was a break in her professional life and three children were born.
Olena and Dmytro’s (Olena’s husband) eldest daughter became the World Champion and multiple winner of many international competitions around the world and the winner of one of the most prestigious competitions in the world – Blackpool Dance Festival.
Olena began teaching at Fred Astaire Dance Studios in 2022 and her students have demonstrated good results in many competitions, including the FADS National Championships in America.
