About Manuel:
Manuel started dancing when he was just 8 years old back in Italy. He danced for his home country until he was 21, then spent 10 years representing Estonia all around the world. Along the way, he picked up titles like Italian Champion, 3-time Estonian Champion, and even placed 3rd at the European Championships. He’s been a finalist at all the big events—UK Open, Blackpool, the International, and the World Championships.
At 23, he moved to Hong Kong to continue his dance journey. Since then, he’s performed and competed across Asia, Europe, and the U.S., winning top titles and putting on incredible shows.
In 2016, he started dancing professionally with his wife, Daria Sereda. Together, they’ve built a strong reputation as one of the top Latin couples—winning events in Singapore, China, Korea, Italy, and more. They’ve made the semifinals in Blackpool, UK, and International Championships for three years in a row, and were European Championship finalists twice.
Outside of competing, they teach and choreograph, sharing their knowledge at camps, studios, and workshops all over the world. They’ve judged competitions, done showcases, and even choreographed for Alizée, a famous French singer known for her viral music with over 100 million views on YouTube.
Most recently, Manuel and Daria choreographed the Latin medley for the UvU Formation Team, who took 1st place at the 2025 Blackpool Dance Festival—a huge milestone in the formation dance world.
Fun fact: Manuel was invited to be on Dancing with the Stars in the U.S., but turned it down to stay focused on his competitive career.
Now based in Phoenix Arizona, Manuel continues to dance, teach, create, and inspire dancers everywhere!
About Daria:
Daria started dancing at just 5 years old in Ukraine. By the time she was 9, she was already competing internationally, and before turning 18, she’d won the title of Ukrainian Champion three years in a row. In the under-21 division, she became a 3-time national champion and took 2nd place at the World Championship in Paris. She also became Vice Champion at the International Championship held at London’s Royal Albert Hall—one of the most prestigious events in the dance world.
She performed and competed all across Ukraine, and in 2014, at age 21, she made a bold move to Hong Kong to continue growing her international dance career.
In 2016, she teamed up with her husband, Manuel Frighetto, and they’ve been building something incredible ever since. They quickly became one of the top professional Latin couples in Italy, winning major events in Singapore, China, Korea, Taiwan, Italy, and the USA. Not only are they an outstanding couple on the dance floor, but both Daria and Manuel have made a strong impact individually as teachers and choreographers.
They’ve been invited to teach at camps all over the world, serve as international judges, perform in showcases, and mentor young dancers who look up to their passion and artistry. They’re based in Phoenix Arizona, but their work has taken them across Europe, Asia, and the U.S., both as competitors and creators.
Together, they’ve danced on the biggest stages: Blackpool, International Championships, UK Open, European Championships, Dutch Open, and even the Disney Cup in Paris. For three years in a row, they’ve been semifinalists in the top professional Latin category in Blackpool and UK events, and twice European Championship finalists in Moscow and Denmark.
One of their most exciting projects? Choreographing the Latin Medley for UVU, a U.S. university formation team that went on to win 1st place at the 2025 Blackpool Dance Festival. They’ve also worked with top college teams like BYU, creating shows and sharing their vision with the next generation of dancers.
Daria was even invited to join Dancing with the Stars in Ukraine, but she turned it down to stay focused on her professional dance career.
Daria and Manuel were invited to teach and choreograph in Corsica at the studio of Alizée, a famous French singer known for her viral hits and over 100 million views on YouTube.
Today, beside teaching worldwide, Daria is also a proud co-owner of the Fred Astaire Dance Studio in Moon Valley, Arizona, where she continues to share her knowledge, energy, and love for dance with students every day!
