Kimberly Bubyr believes that dance is more than movement—it’s a way to connect with yourself, build meaningful relationships, and become part of a supportive community. Throughout her career with Fred Astaire Dance Studios, Kimberly has witnessed the confidence, joy, and positive impact that dance brings to students’ lives.
Kimberly began dancing at age 12 and graduated from the University of Wisconsin–Milwaukee with a Bachelor’s degree in Dance and Business. She joined Fred Astaire Dance Studios in 2010 and has built a successful career as a teacher, manager, competitor, and studio owner.
Her accomplishments include:
- Former Co-Owner of Fred Astaire Dance Studio of Smithtown, New York (2015–2021)
- Former Manager of Fred Astaire Dance Studios of Northbrook, Illinois
- Recipient of numerous Top Teacher and Manager awards
- Fred Astaire Open American Smooth Finalist
- Finalist in numerous Fred Astaire and independent dance competitions
Alongside her husband, Eugene, Kimberly is proud to lead Fred Astaire Dance Studios of South Barrington and looks forward to welcoming every student through the studio doors, creating a positive and inspiring dance experience for all.
