The Fred Astaire Dance Studios – Wisconsin Regional Office invites you to join us for the Cream City Challenge 2026, our spooktacular Halloween-themed Regional dance competition and event! Taking place October 8–10, 2026 at the Hyatt Regency Milwaukee, this exciting weekend features thrilling dance competition, music, social dancing, “BOO-tiful” awards, and a must-enjoy Saturday night costume party.
This event is open to the public, and all are welcome to attend and spectate. Spectator tickets will be available for purchase at the door.

FRIDAY NIGHT MIX & MATCH INFORMATION
It’s time for another wild, fun, and exciting Mix & Match event taking place on the evening of Friday, October 10th!
- All are welcome to participate (that includes all of you spectators too!)
- Purchase your entries, for a great discounted rate, at the competition registration desk, to dance with anyone – and we mean ANYONE – any professional, any staff member, any pro or team member from other studios! (Registration opens after competition start on Thursday and is first come, first serve)
- 100% of the proceeds from entries purchased will go to Canine Cupids – an organization that protects and improves the lives of the homeless, neglected, and exceptional needs dogs in Milwaukee and neighboring areas, and to place them in permanent, loving homes.
- Then hit the floor with those fancy feet for this great cause as we all show our support for dog rescue!
