Our first Fred Astaire National Competition of the year, CCDC, is right around the corner and Fred Astaire Mequon couldn’t be more excited! We have a great group of our students and professionals preparing for this event!
This is the first time that CCDC has come to Milwaukee. The Competition will be held at the Potowatomi Hotel and Casino Monday, April 18th – Friday, April 22nd. Since it is the 60th Anniversary of this competition the organizers are taking us back to the 1950’s for the week with a Happy Days themed ballroom and a huge Grease Sockhop Carnival final night; complete with impersonators, 1950’s music, delicious food, Grease themed Professional Shows, general dancing and awards.
Fred Astaire Mequon is very proud to say that we are being represented at CCDC in the Pro/Am divisions by 13 of our fantastic students and their instructors. In the Professional portion of the competition we are being represented by Ms. Amy, Ms. Julia, Ms. Holly and their partners from our fellow Fred Astaire Wisconsin Studios.
