PROGRAM FOR BUDDING YOUNG DANCERS

the next generation of ballroom dancers on Sun. April 27, 2025
DETAILS: The six-month Ballroom Stars classes begin in May and will meet two to three times a week and cost $100-$200 per month based on participants’ ages.

WHY: Competitive ballroom dancing offers a variety of benefits and is shown to boost confidence, improve self-esteem, and teach dancers to manage emotions. Additionally, it also provides an opportunity to showcase creativity and develop a strong sense of teamwork.
WHAT: Fred Astaire Dance Studios in Bloomfield Hills is looking to introduce the world and elegance of ballroom dance to children and teens ages six to 17 through a new specially designed ‘Ballroom Stars’ group classes. Interested students and their parents/caregivers are invited to attend the free open audition on Sun., April 27, 2025 to learn about the program and enroll.
This event will offer aspiring young dancers the chance to explore competitive ballroom dancing, receive professional feedback, and learn from experienced instructors. No prior ballroom dance experience is necessary, just enthusiasm and a love for movement.
WHEN: April 27, 2025 from 9:00 a.m. – Noon
Two sessions for each age group:
9:00 – 10:30 a.m. ages 6-13
9:30 – 11:00 a.m. ages 14-17
