‘Tis the (Wedding) Season

It seems like wedding season is every season, but many more weddings take place in the summer months than at any other time of year.

With that in mind, we’re seeing a lot of engaged couples and parents of soon-to-be brides and grooms in the studio, and we love helping them grow comfortable on the dance floor so they can impress their friends and family and make a memorable wedding dance.

Wedding dances are a perennial interest – and issue. I’ve lost count of how many times I’ve heard a student confess how nervous they are to dance at an upcoming wedding.

Especially when all eyes are on the bride and groom, and the parents of both, we are happy to help the wedding party gain dance skills, and confidence, so they pull off whatever dances they have planned without a hitch.

If you know a wedding looms on your horizon, get started early. The more practice you have, the more comfortable you’ll be when it comes time to perform.

Because that’s what it really is – a performance. And even if you’re a behind-the-scenes kind of person, at a wedding, you can’t hide in the shadows. It’s your time to shine, and we will make sure you do.
