Which is exactly what we did this summer when we rented the Infinity/Ovation yacht for a Fred Astaire cruise on Lake St. Clair and the Detroit River.
Students, instructors and staff gathered on this signature Detroit area cruise ship to coast along our beautiful shoreline, building camaraderie, kicking it up on the dance floor and immersing in the beauty of the Motor City while the weather is warm and the air invites dancing.
A DJ played ballroom music perfect for us to dance to, and we enjoyed a delicious brunch in between quick steps to great tunes.
It felt like we were on vacation in somewhere tropical, but no, it was our very own hometown. What a delight!
