Jhistine was born in the Philippines, where her journey as an athlete began. At the age of 9, She discovered her passion for dance, which would become a defining part of her life. What started as a hobby soon grew into something much more significant as She trained rigorously and became a member of the Philippine National Team. Over the years, She had the privilege of representing the country in both national and international competitions, with two notable experiences being her participation in the World Para DanceSport events. In 2023, She was proud to be a semi-finalist at the World Para DanceSport competition—a milestone that still stands as one of her proudest accomplishments. Alongside her dedication to dance, She pursued her academic interests and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology in the Philippines. This has given her a deeper understanding of human behavior, which She carry with her both in and out of the dance studio. Today, She continue to be an active competitor, pushing herself to reach new heights as she Steps into a new journey as part of the Professional Dance Teacher in Fred Astaire Dance Studios, Bloomfield Hills.
