Fabulous experience! My partner & I wanted to try out a couple of ballroom lessons before our wedding, and this is the place to go. Our main dance instructor Anastasia has been extremely welcoming and supportive in all the right ways. She along with fellow instructors take you through the basic steps and seamlessly layer in the details. Anastasia has undoubtedly taken everything from my dress, physical capacity & our personalities into consideration when helping us with a routine for our first dance as a married couple. We are looking forward to the rest of our lessons and other dance events with Fred Astaire Mystic in the future! 💃🏽🕺🏽🩵 PS - Our first dance at our wedding was wonderful. There are many reasons people are looking for a dance studio. It ranges from a desire to prepare for a specific special occasion like a wedding/anniversary, or .. just to learn how to be a social dancer, or maybe a seasoned dancer who just wants to hone his/her skills. Whatever the reason may be, we all look for a place where we're accepted, not judged, and treated like the celebrities we know we are :). Needless to say, FADS in Mystic turned out to be exactly that. Doesn't matter who you are, what your skill level is, the instructors here have a unique way of making you feel important and make you forget whatever shortcomings you think you have - they make lessons FUN while at the same time teach you the things you need to know, at the pace you need. I couldn't be more grateful to have found this place. I may never leave (they may kick me out one day, but I'll deal with that when the time comes 🙂 )
