I was born in Dominican Republic and began my dance training when I was 7 years old. In 2012 I become a Professional Certified Instructor at the Fred Astaire Dance Studios in Montville, NJ. I’m trained in all styles of ballroom dancing such as waltz and tango to the Latin styles like cha-cha and samba to name a few. Throughout the years I have been awarded numerous awards including Rising Star Male Teacher, Top Overall Teacher at our events and Rising Star Competitive couple. I along with my partner have become Rising Star Finalist in multiple competitions. I am currently the Dance Director and Professional Dance Instructor at the Fred Astaire Dance Studio in Oradell, NJ location.
My favorite thing about teaching is taking someone that never danced before or think they have two left feet and seeing how they progress and become confident dancers. I’m excited to work with the people in the community and help them achieve the greatest level of confidence on the dance floor.
My piece of advice is: Any one can dance, just give yourself time, have fun with it and you will see how everything will change every lesson you take. But, most importantly don’t ever give up.
