BIO
Elena Rudenco is an experienced professional dancer (more than 30 years in dance), instructor, coach, adjudicator, and Fred Astaire Dance Studio – Fort Myers co-owner. Originally from the country of Moldova in Eastern Europe, Elena moved to the US in 2008 and joined Fred Astaire Dance Studios. She started dancing at the age of 7 in her hometown of Tiraspol and has traveled the world, competing, teaching, coaching and judging. With her husband, Andrei Rudenco, she opened her first dance studio in 1996 in Tiraspol, Moldova. She has taught and trained hundreds of dancers from beginner level all the way to professional level. Many of them are FADS instructors and competitors in USA now. Elena is qualified in all levels as dance instructor in all 4 dance styles. Also, qualified in the Silver Level of Diploma Certification in American Smooth and Rhythm, International Standard and Latin, Dance Director and Adjudicator with Fred Astaire Dance Studios and NDCA.
