Our group program covers Latin, ballroom, and swing, so every dance class builds real technique and rhythm you can use on any dance floor. Our beginner program is taught in the same studio space for all ages, so newcomers always have someone to learn alongside.

Why Join Our Group Classes

This collective dance experience is a great way to learn new steps that you can bring to your private dance lesson for you and your instructor to refine together.

Group classes are a fun, social way to build community, since practicing alongside other dancers takes the pressure off any one student and turns each class into a shared experience built on movement, rhythm, and music.

Many dancers love the friendships that form on the dance floor as much as the choreography, and our dance studio is proud to be a place where those bonds last well beyond the first class.

Classes for Dancers of All Ages

Our dance studio offers dancers at every stage a place to grow, from children just starting out to adults returning to a lifelong passion for dance.

Kids and young dancers explore the same ballroom, Latin, and swing styles as our adult classes, taught in an age-appropriate, nurturing environment that builds skills at whatever pace fits. Our adult classes cover the same lineup for students who want a fun way to stay active.

Every style is taught by instructors who love working with dancers at every level, and many families tell us that watching their child build confidence in a dance class is worth the drive from Raleigh, Durham, or Wake Forest on its own. Families make up a big part of our community, and our dance education programs are built to grow with your child.

Parents and older teens alike appreciate our focus on skills and long term development rather than a single recital, and we run a summer session each year for children who want extra stage time between school years. Our program supports both recreational and performance-focused tracks, so families can choose what fits.

Dance Parties

Dance parties or social public dances are an important and fun part of the learning process. At these parties, you’ll have the opportunity to go out on the dance floor and try out all the technical dance styles and steps you learned in your dance lessons with various partners, professional dance instructors, other students, and guests.

Dancing in this relaxed environment eases the stress of dancing in front of other people and builds confidence for all of your future dancing.

Group Classes and Private Lessons

Many students train in both formats: group classes to socialize and practice with different partners, and private lessons to focus one-on-one with an instructor and refine technique faster.

The two work together. Skills you discover in a group setting often become the focus of your next private lesson, and steps you train privately get tested on the dance floor at your next class, encouraging real, lasting progress.

Yes. We offer programs for children, teens, and adults, with instruction suited to each age group and their long term development.

No partner is required. You can dance with a variety of partners during class, whether you sign up alone or with someone else.

Expect a supportive, low-pressure environment where your instructor will walk you through the basics before you dance with the group.

We like to remind our students that comfortable, function clothing is always best for practicing. Ladies tend to wear athletic tank tops and leggings or shorts, or flowy skirts and dresses that are easy to move it. Men usually wear a t-shirt or a button up with dress pants. For shoes, it’s best to wear shoes with soles that glide across the floor, rather than grippy sneakers that restrict your movement.
